Pitching Machine is operated by Shinichi remotely, successfully demolishing props created by Violet Blue, Diana DeFrancesco and other volunteers. A laptop serves up a Java applet, has video conferencing enabled and communicates with the Pitching Machine via commands sent over the serial port to the Pitching Machine microcontroller.
